Hi all,
If i click on Document in Documents Module then it will show the Download
option ,instead of that if i click on the file it will open the document
for editing
For example in gmail if any file we have to upload, then it will show
three options , View(to see the document), download(to download the
document) ,Share(to share the Document)

I think now you understood , what is my problem
Thanks & Regards,
B.Ramya.

Although we have not written the plugin, from the sound of what you need
I would suggest one of two routes:

Integration with Alfresco (which can handle in-situ editing etc) for a
"private" DMS, or integration with Google Drive.

Although I am no help to Ramya with a better solution than the current
vtiger documents module. We are currently looking at integrating
alfresco with vtiger and I expect this project to go ahead in the new year.

First, there is a very easy solution already implemented: webdav from
Stefan Warnat

https://shop.stefanwarnat.de/vtigercrm-webdav-connector/

I have tested it and it works perfect. With this you edit directly
against vtiger CRM document system. A simple and elegant solution.

If you want more advanced DMS, we have an openKM integration working in
initial phase:

http://crmevolutivo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=vtopenkm

We also looked into owncloud, I personally had high hopes for that one,
but the opensource version is very lacking so I abandoned the idea. I
would be really interested in somebody showing me that I am wrong and
changing my mind about it :-)

Hope that helps
